Topics: to share things I’ve found useful and/or sensible that I’ve learned along the way. Topics range from personal finance / financial literacy, investing, entrepreneurship, life philosophy, principles, frameworks for life, and other generally useful concepts.

My Purpose for Starting This Blog

My original intent for starting this blog was a mix of goals. Primarily, I wanted this to serve as a host to document the important learnings on personal finance / investing I’ve learned along the way. To clarify and organize my own understanding, as well as to share these topics with others as I thought they’d be useful.

For transparency, it is also my first run at blogging online so in part, I wanted to practice developing my writing ability. I was also curious about if you could actually make money from blogging (of course I’ve heard it’s possible) but as a proof of concept, I wanted to validate this myself (though I do not have much expectation for it, nor is it my primary goal).

Financial literacy is something I attach a great amount of importance because it has added much practical value to my own life (and because I think it’s an important life skill). It is something I’m continuing to learn upon to develop a deeper understanding and I would like to share the useful nuggets of information learned along the way. There is a lot of material out presently on the web (some quality, some fluff), and navigating it can be challenging or overwhelming for those getting started (personal experience). So if by me advocating for the education of / can bring any clarity on the subject; if you or anyone takes any value from my writing, it will make me personally happy, and sharing about it well-worth the time! =)
